BTS’ Jimin shares update on his health after recent COVID-19 diagnosis

BTS member, Jimin, is recuperating from being affected by the COVID-19 virus, and he couldn’t be more excited to share the news with the world!

Last Monday, January 31st, the record label the K-pop boy band is signed to, Big Hit Music, confirmed that the pop star had contracted the COVID virus and, in addition to that, would be going in for appendicitis surgery.

Earlier, Jimin had suffered a mild sore throat and abdominal pain, as well as some symptoms of the COVID virus.

He is also the fourth member of the boy band to come down with the virus soon after fellow members RM, Jin, and Suga were affected by the virus last December.

Days later, the pop star took to fan community app, Weverse, to give an update on his condition. “I’m sorry for making you worry,” wrote the star. “However, I think I will be able to get discharged soon!”

“I’m recovering well and making sure to eat all three meals,” he wrote assuredly as he addressed fans. “Please wait for a little while longer, I will recover quickly and go!”

Although, reps from their camp have come out to say that all four previously affected members are now fully recovered. Gladly, a fifth member just joined the recovery movement.
