Davido And Lojay Appear On The Billboard Hot 100 Chart For The First Time

Nigerian singers and Afrobeats stars, Davido and Lojay, have officially made their debut on the Billboard Hot 100.

American musician Chris Brown’s collaborative effort “Sensational,” featuring hitmaker Davido and Afrobeats artist Lojay, debuted at No. 96 on the Billboard Hot 100, making them the latest Nigerian acts to make their debut.

“Sensational,” which debuted on the Hot Billboard 100 chart after spending several weeks on the rising Hot 100, is one of the lead tracks from Chris Brown’s next 2023 album, “11:11.” From 11th to 9th place on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, 16th to 10th place on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, 16th to 14th place on Rhythmic Airplay, and 30th place on Adult R&B Airplay, the track has risen in Billboard Charts rankings.

The song is the second single off of Brown’s November release of 11:11, his eleventh studio album, which made its debut and peaked at No. 1 on Top R&B Albums and No. 9 on the Billboard 200, according to Billboard Stats.

More Nigerian celebrities have charted after Wizkid made his debut and peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to his performance on Drake’s “One Dance.” In addition to Wiz, CKay, Fireboy, Burna Boy, Tems, Rema, Davido and Lojay are the latest Nigerian artists to feature on the Billboard Hot 100.
