Future Unveils New LANVIN LAB Capsule Collection, Comprising Unisex Clothes And Accessories
For a new line of merchandise that includes everything from necklaces and sunglasses to t-shirts and briefcases, Future has partnered with a high-end French fashion brand.
On Monday, November 20, the icon of Trap music revealed his first-ever partnership with LANVIN LAB. Future’s love of layering and tailoring, along with an exceptional flare for accessories, is highlighted in this unisex collection, according to the company’s website.
According to the website, there are two symbols that are recurrent motifs in the Future x LANVIN LAB collaboration. The Freebandz logo features an eagle as well, which stands for “courage, majesty and truth, as well as a sense of flying high with bird’s eye vision.” However, the Star, another shared logo, is seen as a symbol of empowerment, safety, and direction.
Future explicitly drew inspiration for one iconic piece from the new collection—a leather jacket with constellation-shaped metallic studs—from the LANVIN archives. Pluto also created his own revamped version of the Lanvin sneaker, the Curb 3.0, and had the writing from the 1930s and 1940s Lanvin perfume ads printed into the denim in his new line.
Future has shown himself well-versed in fashion, making his co-sign very valuable in that field. He also has a track record for working with top fashion brands. He had collaborated with the emerging streetwear brand RHUDE two years ago, aiding in the launch of the new collection.
