Legendary Michael Bolton Undergoes Emergency Brain Surgery To Remove Tumor

Renowned singer Michael Bolton has recently shared some personal news with his fans. In a Facebook post, he revealed that he had undergone emergency surgery to remove a brain tumour. The announcement came as a shock to many of his followers, who had no prior knowledge of his medical condition.

Bolton, who has been in the music industry for over four decades, released his latest album ‘Christmas Time’ during the 2023 festive season. The album was well-received by his fans and critics alike. Earlier in the same year, he launched his first-ever album of original material titled ‘Spark of Light’. The singer planned to embark on a tour around the US and Europe in early 2024. However, due to his recent medical condition, he has confirmed that the shows have been suspended. Bolton’s health and well-being are his top priorities at this time.

Despite the setback, the good news is that the surgery was successful, and the singer is now recovering at home with his family. His fans have shown an outpouring of love and support, wishing him a speedy recovery.

He wrote,

“I want to start by wishing everyone a very happy and healthy new year! I also want to share that 2023 ended up presenting me with some very unexpected challenges,” “Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumor, which required immediate surgery. Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success. I am now recuperating at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family.”

“For the next couple of months, I will be devoting my time and energy to my recovery which means I’ll have to take a temporary break from touring. It is always the hardest thing for me to ever disappoint my fans or postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon.”

“I am beyond grateful for all the love and support you have so generously shown me through the years. Know that I’m keeping your positive messages in my heart, and I’ll give you more updates as soon as I can. Much love always, MB.”
