New Music From FIFTY FIFTY On The Way As Keena Shares Plans

Keena, a member of the K-pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY, has announced that she plans to continue releasing music with the group. In a press release by The Korea Times earlier this week, Keena stated that she is “gearing up to share more love, hoping we can walk this path together in the future.” Following a dispute between former members and the label Attrakt last year, Keena is now the only remaining member of the group. In November 2023, Attrakt announced its plans to add new members to FIFTY FIFTY, with the group continuing as a four-member act. Keena also agreed with this plan:

“Once again, I’m preparing to entertain and demonstrate my hard work with FIFTY’s songs.”

Attrakt is searching for new members for FIFTY FIFTY and has expressed enthusiasm to do so with Keena’s return to the agency. Keena has co-written some of the group’s past songs, including their debut single ‘Higher’ and the Korean version of their Tiktok viral hit ‘Cupid’. The girl group debuted in November 2022 with members Saena, Sio, Keena, and Aran. Their first comeback was with ‘Cupid’ in February, which propelled them to international fame. However, all four members filed to suspend their contracts with Attrakt in June 2023, claiming that the agency had violated the terms of their agreement. Although there were legal disputes and the Seoul central district court denied the suspension of FIFTY’s contracts, Keena withdrew her lawsuit, appealed against the decision, and returned to Attrakt. The agency later terminated its contracts with the other three members and announced that it would be “reorganising” the group. We wish FIFTY FIFTY all the best in their future endeavours.
