Nigerian Celebrities Grace Sammie Okposo’s Daughter’s Wedding
At the wedding of Alulu Okposo, the daughter of the late gospel musician Sammie Okposo, celebrities from the Nollywood scene, such as Jennifer Eliogu, Chidi Mokeme, Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, and even the iconic rapper, Vector, all showed up in style. On Saturday, the wedding ceremony went down at the graceful Ibru Garden, Victoria Island, Lagos.
As expected, pictures and videos of the celebs in attendance at the event were all over Instagram. The wedding’s mood was elevated by the presence of renowned actresses, like Ann Njamanze, Joke Silva, and Bimbo Akintola, who were reportedly live in the cut. Alulu’s mother and stepmother, Ozioma Okposo, both attended the wedding, lending a warm and loving touch to the occasion.
On October 5, Lulu, as she is affectionately known, had already announced her wedding on Instagram. In the post’s comments area, she received congratulations from a number of celebs as well. Sadly, the one important person absent from this occasion is the bride’s father.
On November 25, 2022, Sammie Okposo, 51, passed away peacefully in his sleep. On December 16, 2022, he was laid to rest in the Lekki neighborhood of Lagos. In line with his passing, the late legendary gospel singer was also honored with an industry night of tributes and an accompanying goodbye ceremony.
