The well-known Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has shocked many with his latest disclosures on his substantial wealth.

In an interview that went viral online on Thursday, March 21, 2024, the musician revealed that he has about twenty cars, including high-end vehicles like a G-Wagon and a Range Rover. Apart from his vast automobile collection, Portable revealed that he also has ten mansions that are in various phases of completion.

He went into further detail about his current construction endeavors, which include building a hotel in Ogun State. In addition, Portable noted his role in building a market in the neighborhood. Portable made it clear that, in spite of his enormous financial advantages, he leads a modest lifestyle and lives in what he refers to as “the trenches.”

But he made it clear that, in spite of his modest residence, he lives a genuine life free from pretense or excessive shows of riches. Portable expressed his displeasure with the quality of the roads, blaming them for the damage done to his cars. He urged the government to give road repairs first priority, especially in Ogun State, in order to facilitate easier mobility and stop future car deterioration.

These revelations made by Portable have provoked conversations among enthusiasts and onlookers, illuminating the complex structure of the Nigerian music sector and the wide range of experiences held by its musicians.
