Portable Promises To Quit Tossing Money Around And Apologizes To The EFCC

The leader of Zeh Nation and Nigerian artist, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has openly begged for pardon from the government and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) because to his habit of dousing his fans in cash.

During a live chat on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the street artist revealed that he was changing his attitude to financial giving and voiced concerns about the possible repercussions of his activities. According to the Tony Montana hit-maker, he used to give away almost N2M in cash splatters every day.

He recognized his previous behavior of doing this. His aims were clear: he wanted to help others and spread goodwill. Nonetheless, Portable appears to have adopted a more circumspect approach in view of the mounting attention and the recent six-month prison sentence imposed on popular crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, nicknamed Bobrisky.

He apologized and asked for pardon from the anti-graft agency and the authorities out of fear of possible repercussions. Portable encouraged his followers to open bank accounts and promised that he would no longer spray cash on them. He said he would make transfers rather than giving out cash in person to help his supporters.

In an attempt to continue helping his followers without running afoul of the law, the artist decided to switch from giving cash distribution to bank payments.
