The Zazoo crooner was consequently brought before the judge on a five-count charge of theft and assault. After completing his bail terms, Portable was granted release from prison. However, following a plea created by Osimusi Emmanuel, also known as Manny Monie, he had been held since Friday.

Portable appeared before the judge on Monday and entered a not-guilty plea to all accusations against him. Adodo Destiny, Portable’s attorney, had asked the judge to release the performer on bail. When deciding on the bail request submitted by his attorney, Magistrate A.S. Soneye stated that the crimes were bailable and gave him bail with a bail bond of N300,000 and two sureties who must live within the court’s jurisdiction.

However, the judge decided the defendant should go to the Ilaro Correctional Facility while his bail conditions were satisfied. The hearing was therefore set to begin on April 26 after the case was postponed.

Riding in a vehicle alongside his loved ones after his release, the singer said: “Akoi grace. I have learned a lesson. I have learned a real lesson.”

Another clip from the trending Instagram live video showed Portable thanking his boss for assistance getting bail.
