Rapper Lil Jon Puts On Pause His Typical Party Vibe With His Upcoming Guided Meditation Album

Lil Jon is setting aside his party jams, for the time being at least.

On February 16, the 53-year-old rapper “Turn Down for What” will release a 10-track guided meditation album. According to a TMZ source, Lil Jon’s upcoming album is “truthful” to his personal life, which has been centered around “fitness and wellness.” His recent hobbies are the “byproduct” of the album.

Lil Jon, whose real name is Jonathan Smith, has been promoting the release of his meditation album by retweeting and posting content on Instagram Stories. The hip-hop artist has already displayed other sides of himself. Lil Jon starred in Lil Jon “Wants to Do What?,” an HGTV home design series, in 2022.

The program followed Lil Jon and Anitra Mecadon, a qualified designer, as they worked with a family to renovate a room in their home. Together, they came up with some creative solutions that fit homeowners’ budgets.

Lil Jon made a significant leap from being an Apprentice contestant in 2011 to becoming a television celebrity. He has starred in shows including Bar Rescue, Tiny House Nation, and Bachelor in Paradise season co-host.

His catchphrases, “Yeeeaaahh!” and “Okaaaayy!” helped the Grammy nominee amass over 7 million likes on TikTok, where he has cultivated a following among Gen Zs in recent years.
