Ruger Issues An Official Statement Confirming His Departure From Jonzing World

In a formal statement, Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Ruger, has made public his official departure from the Jonzing World record company.

Ruger made the statement today, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, on his verified Instagram page. He thanked D’Prince, his label boss and mentor, for believing in his potential and supporting him throughout his time with the company.

Ruger underlined his willingness to take a risk in his profession, even in spite of the grief of parting ways with Jonzing World. Declaring a new chapter in his musical career, he announced that he intended to start his own record label, Blown Boy Entertainment.

The “Asiwaju” hit-maker expressed gratitude for the important role that Jonzing World and D’Prince had played in his artistic development, but he also expressed faith in his ability to follow God’s guidance and forge onward.
