UK Rapper J Hus Freestyles Over Olamide And Asake’s “Amapiano” Beat
J Hus’s performance of one of the best freestyle verses on Asake and Olamide’s popular song Amapiano had followers on social media in awe. Following the recent video uploaded by award-winning UK grime rapper J Hus in which he performed a freestyle on the popular song by Asake and Olamide titled Amapiano, several questions surfaced about whether the rapper will make an appearance on the song’s remix.
Amapiano, which following its debut peaked at number one on the two main digital streaming services, Apple Music and Spotify, also seemed to have celebrities in a chokehold. After the successful release of his joint project with Drake, Who Told You, J Hus’ freestyle verse is one that people can’t stop talking about.
Since their release, Amapiano and other songs from Asake’s second album, Work Of Art, have dominated the charts. The singer had all of her songs on the Spotify top songs daily chart for Nigeria, reached the top spot on the Apple Music top albums UK chart, and also peaked at number three on the Apple Music top albums chart for the US.
