With His ‘Blessed’ EP, Mohbad Reaches A New Record On Spotify
Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, achieved a huge milestone on Spotify with his extended play, “Blessed.” The Spotify Nigeria weekly albums chart now features “Blessed,” the first EP to take the top spot. Sadly, the accomplishment is posthumous.
His singles and projects were affected by his passing on Nigerian music streaming services. ‘Peace,’ ‘Feel Good,’ ‘Ask About Me,’ and ‘Beast and Peace’ have all earned slots in the top 10 tracks on Apple Music Nigeria.
On the UK Apple music albums chart, his EP Blessed debuted in the top 20. On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Mohbad passed on under unexplained circumstances. Police are right now looking into what led to his untimely death.
The 27-year-old aspiring musician, also known as Imole (Light), was a youthful and extremely talented artist whose imagination and outstanding talent led him to compose high-thrilling lyrics that captured the hearts of millions of followers throughout the world.
