Charles John and Susan Manganiello welcomed Joe into the world in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on December 28, 1976. His heritages include Sicilian, Irish, Croatian, Armenian, German, and African ancestry. His mother is of Croatian, German, and Armenian origin, while his father is of Italian descent.
