Real Warri Pikin Biography

Anita Asuoha was raised in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, where she was born on 29 October 1990. She graduated in 2012 from Benson Idahosa University in Benin City after majoring in political science and public administration. She received a second-class upper during her graduation and served in Abuja for her National Youth Service (NYSC).

While she was still in school, she started her career in entertainment. She got her start in stand-up comedy and dancing. She competed in the ‘Glo Rock ‘N’ Rule dancing competition in 2008, taking first place. In 2009, she received the Globacom ambassador title. She entered “The Maltina Dance All Family Competition” in 2011 and placed second overall with her family.

“Real Warri Pikin” is the stage name of Anita Asuoha. She has appeared as a stand-up comedian on numerous occasions in Nigeria and other countries, including Warri Again, Akpororo vs. Akpororo, Man on Fire, and the AY show. She also appears as a compere at different events across the nation. In addition, she serves as an on-air personality that hosts a program called “Real Talk With Real Warri Pikin” on the Max 90.9 FM Radio Station in Abuja.

 

Real Warri Pikin is a suicide survivor; as on 6 June 2018, when she was depressed, she almost took her own life, but for help from three medical centers, she would have succeeded. Following her survival, she started making funny motivational videos to inspire people and share her story in 2019.

The comedian rose to fame thanks to her Instagram posts showcasing her hilarious lifestyle and comedic routines. She debuted her clothing brand, Real Warri Pikin Merch, in October 2021. Even though not all of her brand ambassadorships were successful, the famous Warri native was thankful for them all. She once came under fire in 2021 after “Benignant Forte,” a company for whom she had been hired as a brand ambassador, stopped operating due to allegations that it had scammed investors of their money. Anita informed fans in a statement that the business had temporarily suspended operations and that investors would receive refunds.

Real Warri Pikin has also appeared in Nollywood productions such as Prophetess, Fate of Alakada, Aki and Pawpaw, The Ghost and the Tout Too, The Stand Up, Intricate, Lemonade, Merry Men 2, etc. In addition, she released the song single for the TV series “School of Thought” with TENI in January 2021.
