BTS Upcoming Comic Book Will Chronicle Iconic Group’s Rise To Fame; Release Date Announced

Multimedia company TidalWave Comics recently announced that they will release a new comic book adaptation titled FAME: BTS, chronicling the rise to fame of the popular K-pop band BTS. Written by Eric M. Esquivel and illustrated by renowned manga artist Lucy Fidelis, the 22-page comic book takes readers through the journey of the seven-member group, from their early days as aspiring musicians to their rise as global superstars.

According to TidalWave Comics, the comic book biography delves into the group’s transition from mere idols and musicians to dedicated soldiers. The upcoming comic book is part of the publisher’s FAME series, which includes biographical comics about some of the world’s most famous celebrities, such as Adele, Lady Gaga, and One Direction. The FAME series currently spans over 60 titles that chronicle the lives of these celebrities and their rise to fame. The comic book will be available to fans in digital and print formats, with soft and hardcover editions featuring beautiful artwork by Paulo Teles Yonami and Alexandre Starling. Fans can now pre-order FAME: BTS on Amazon, with a release date set for January 10.

It’s also worth noting that last month, BTS members RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook began their mandatory military service, while the eldest member, Jin, had already enlisted in December 2020. The group’s record label, Big Hit Music, announced that all seven members would serve their mandatory military terms without special exemptions. After completing their service, BTS is expected to reunite in 2025. Each member took to their social media pages to bid farewell to their fans before enlisting, leaving a lasting impression on their fans worldwide.
