Davido Discloses The Nigerian Star Who Inspired Him To Name His Album “Timeless”

Heavyweight Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, has shared how a well-known Nigerian celebrity influenced him to call his most recent album “Timeless.” The international superstar unveiled his highly awaited new album, “Timeless,” which featured guest performances from artists like Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, Asake, FAVE, The Cavemen, Dexta Daps, and others.

This came after the releases of “A Better Time,” “A Good Time,” and “Omo Baba Olowo (The Genesis).” The fourth album in Davido’s illustrious discography has continued to rule the music scene nationally and internationally. The DMW chief artist and owner revealed in an interview with London-based radio station Capital Extra that renowned music producer Don Jazzy, the head of Mavin Records, gave him the idea for the album’s title, “Timeless.”

Davido said that even though they altered the album’s name approximately five times, he and his crew decided that “Timeless” made more sense.

Davido clarified that the album’s title was selected because it was the most appropriate for his devoted supporters and people who had just discovered his music. He continued by saying that the album was made to endure the test of time and would continue to be praised for its beauty and excellence for many years.
