Illbliss Unveils The Tracklist And Cover Artwork For “Sideh Kai,” His Surprise Forthcoming Album

Nigerian rapper and actor, Illbliss, has unveiled the track listing for his latest album, “Sideh Kai.”

Tobechukwu Ejiofor, better known online as Illbliss, posted the cover art and track listing for his upcoming album, “Sideh Kai,” on social media. The album is expected to be released on February 24, 2024.

Along with working with other Nigerian musicians, the rapper and actor will also collaborate with Made Kuti, Teni, Fave, Odumodublvck, Vector, Cobhams Asuquo, and many more. Apart from his forthcoming album, Illbliss is also a co-producer and composer of the soundtrack for the recently launched Showmax documentary series, Freemen.

On February 12, 2024, the seven-part documentary series debuted on the African streaming platform Showmax. The Igbo Apprenticeship System is the subject of the documentary. For many years, the eastern part of Nigeria has been based on this structure.

The technique involves placing young people under the guidance of seasoned traders, artisans, or experts to teach them a trade or talent for a specified amount of time. After that, the young people are given “freedom,” usually in the form of financial settlement or seed money to start their own business.

The new album follows “Chukwu Ebuka,” featuring the singing duo Umu Obiligbo, which was Illbliss’ first single as a lead artist in 2023. His consistent delivery demonstrates the artist’s lasting relevance, versatility, and dedication to delivering music that connects with audiences.
