Joni Mitchell Announces Second Headlining Show In Los Angeles

Joni Mitchell, the legendary folk icon and nine-time Grammy winner, has announced a second headlining show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles due to “overwhelming demand.” The newly added show is scheduled for October 20, following the previously announced gig on October 19. These shows will mark her triumphant return to headlining performances in Los Angeles after a 24-year hiatus. Fans who don’t want to miss out on watching Joni Mitchell’s live performance can quickly sign up for her email list to obtain an access code for the pre-sale tickets, which are on sale at 10 a.m. PT (6 p.m. GMT). General on-sale tickets for both shows will be available via Ticketmaster on Friday, February 2.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Joni Mitchell will finally be performing at the Grammy Awards for the first time in her career on February 4. Mitchell will be in the Best Folk Album category for her 2023 live album, ‘Joni Mitchell at Newport’.

‘Joni Mitchell at Newport’ was recorded during her surprise set at the 2022 Newport music festival, where she played a 13-song “JONI JAM” set that included Brandi Carlile on the tracks ‘Carey’, ‘A Case of You’ and ‘Big Yellow Taxi’. Following the Newport set, Mitchell played her first whole headline show in over two decades in June 2023 at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington, D.C. She was joined by a group of collaborators, including Marcus Mumford and Carlile, and delivered a 24-song set featuring tracks from across her career as well as a few covers. With her impressive track record and her upcoming performances, Joni Mitchell continues to prove that she is one of the most influential and celebrated artists of our time.
