Kanye West Hit With A Lawsuit For Allegedly Hitting ‘Autograph Dealer’ In Los Angeles

A lawsuit has been filed against Kanye West for allegedly hitting a guy in Los Angeles two years ago as he requested for an autograph.

Documents obtained by The Blast on Tuesday, January 9th, reveal that Justin Poplawski and his spouse Tiffany Marshall hired renowned attorney Gloria Allred to bring a lawsuit against Ye, alleging intentional emotional distress inflicted, assault and battery, negligence, and loss of consortium, meaning, loss of the ability to engage in sexual relations or bear children.

According to numerous reports at the time, on January 13, 2022, the Chicago native allegedly punched Poplawski twice, once in the skull and once in the neck, sending him to the ground close to the Soho Warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles.

While he was “lawfully standing on public property,” Poplawski claims Kanye attacked him multiple times, “severely injuring him.” The settlement of the Poplawskis’ lawsuit is not yet public knowledge.

Kanye West provided his version of the event and said Poplawski gave him “attitude” when he told him it wasn’t a good time in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee soon after the 2022 incident.

Ye provided more context for the video footage of his dramatic outburst by saying that his cousins had just returned from meeting with Kim Kardashian to discuss parenting issues and had just given him some bad news.
