ScHoolboy Q Gets Wish Granted As Jay-Z Co-signs, Listens To His Much-anticipated Incoming Album

The request from ScHoolboy Q to have Jay-Z hear his upcoming album before it drops has come true because the two of them really met, as revealed by social media posts. The rapper praised his fans on Twitter for assisting him in attracting Jigga’s attention. Although ScHoolboy Q has been promoting his upcoming album aggressively, he did recently take time to inform his fans that he would like Jay-Z’s opinion on the record. The 37-year-old tweeted in mid-February that he wishes he could play his record for Jay-Z.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, February 26, the California MC disclosed that he has teamed up with Hov and even had a positive response from the mogul when he played him Blue Lips, which is scheduled to launch on March 1. Punch, the president of Top Dawg Entertainment, who most likely had some influence in getting them together, was also praised in the caption of the post.

Though the Southern California native still values the legend’s gesture, he stated that he will always prioritize where the money is. That being said, getting the rapper and businessman to listen to the record wouldn’t have been a top priority if there was some big bag option included, as evidenced by his response to his fans questions.
