Stars Turn Out For The Premiere Of Uche Jombo And Zubby Michael’s New Film
A sizable number of Nollywood stars showed up for their own, Zubby Michael and Uche Jombo, as their new film “Onyeegwu” had its official premiere in Lagos, and it was quite the spectacle.
Industry stars including Ini Edo, Chioma Chukwuka, Lateef Adedimeji, Nancy Isime, Ufuoma McDermott, Williams Uchemba, BBNaija’s Tacha, and many more were live at the premiere. An excited Zubby shared a clip from the event, and even went ahead to do a trending TikTok challenge with some of his fellow colleagues and industry buddies.
Owing to Zubby Michael’s outstanding performance in the film, Uche Jombo’s most recent masterwork, “Onyeegwu,” is not only soaring at the box office, but also garnering a lot of attention on social media. With a all-star ensemble cast that includes some of the best Nollywood actors, the movie is blowing up and is captivating viewers, leaving them wanting more.
The movie’s popularity is supported by actual demand rather than just marketing hype. According to reports from the AFRIFF 2023 festival, “Onyeegwu” was the only movie where people fought passionately for seats, confirming its reputation as a powerful picture.
