Tems has released three singles ahead of the June 7 release of “Born In The Wild.” The most recent, “Love Me Jeje,” is a sample of the iconic Seyi Sodimu song of the same name with Shaffy Bello. Tems is now one of the biggest music singers in Africa, having achieved worldwide recognition in 2020 following her electric performance on Wizkid’s “Essence.”

She was also featured on Future’s song, “Wait For U,” alongside Drake, which won a Grammy for Best Melodic Rap Performance. In addition, the singer has also worked on different music projects with both Beyoncé and Rihanna, two American music icons.

With the soundtrack for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” which features Rihanna as the lead singer, Tems also made history by being the first Nigerian musician to be nominated for an Oscar. The song received a 95th Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song.

All her day-one fans are incredibly stoked to see her meteoritic rise to global stardom, and literally cannot wait for June 7 to come quicker.
