Metro Adds To Prize For “BBL Drizzy” Contest Winner
Metro Boomin, a respected music producer, has recently made an “exciting announcement” regarding his viral “BBL Drizzy” contest. As part of the update, the reward money for the winner has been increased to $10,000, in addition to the promised free beat. In addition, a runner-up will also receive a free beat. The announcement was made by Metro Boomin himself via Twitter on Monday, where he stated: “Update to the contest! The winner gets $10k and a beat. The runner-up gets a beat as well. #bbldrizzybeatgiveaway.”
Metro Boomin shared the “BBL Drizzy” beat online over the weekend, which served as the basis for the competition. Since then, he has been retweeting some of his favourite submissions. Drake, the famous rapper, responded to the diss beat by questioning it on social media: “You just c*** a beat about my a**?”
The feud between Metro Boomin and Drake has been ongoing since the release of their collaborative project with Future, “We Don’t Trust You.” In the project, Metro featured Kendrick Lamar dissing Drake for the track “Like That.” He then worked with several other artists to help them diss Drake, including ASAP Rocky, The Weeknd, and others.
