Fast-rising rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, better known by his stage name Oladips, has leveled a complaint against his manager.
The musician recently sat down with Naija FM to discuss his career and other personal life issues. Oladips, speaking about his career, disclosed that his now-sacked manager had cleared out all of his funds when he was sick to the point of death.
He said he had to let the dubious manager go and is now seeking out strictly professional people to fill that vacant position. The rapper also finally addressed the rumours of him faking his death. For the “confusion, distress, and false alarm” that the allegation generated, the singer said he accepts full responsibility.
The rapper’s management first revealed his passing on his Instagram page in November, which is when it all started. The singer died of an unidentified chronic illness, according to the announcement. The rapper’s recent statement come a few days after he had promised to solve the mystery surrounding his alleged death.
While speaking, Oladips also acknowledged that he had uploaded a video asking for help to get to the hospital. He said he lost consciousness moments later, which prompted his management to issue their official statement addressing his demise because they had believed he had truly passed on.
