Justin Timberlake Unveils The Tracklist For His Highly Anticipated Album, “Everything I Thought It Was”

For his forthcoming album “Everything I Thought It Was,” Justin Timberlake has enlisted a group of collaborators that includes rapper and vocalist Tobe Nwigwe, Nigerian singer Fireboy DML, and his former members of NSYNC.

Last week, when promoting the deluxe vinyl edition of his first solo album in five years, Timberlake hinted NSYNC’s involvement on TikTok in response to a perceptive fan who had noticed the band’s name on the tracklist. After “Better Place,” which can be heard on the “Trolls Band Together” album, NSYNC is featured on “Paradise,” the group’s second single of the decade.

Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Timberlake, the group’s members, had only revealed their reunion last year while performing live at the MTV VMAs, where they had given Taylor Swift the best pop award for “Anti-Hero.” Ever since, Timberlake has been dropping hints about new NSYNC music, reminding fans that the group had been rehearsing in the studio for something that would be released later.

“Everything I Thought It Was,” which is slated for release on March 15, begins with the song “Memphis,” which pays homage to the singer’s hometown, and another called “F**kin’ Up the Disco.” The first single off the album, “Selfish,” debuted at a special concert in Timberlake’s hometown of Memphis. The album consists of eighteen tracks, which can be seen below:
