Ice Spice Addresses A Fan’s Inquiry Concerning Her Producer’s Sexuality

Ice Spice is dispelling a myth regarding her friend and longtime producer, RiotUSA. The lifelong friends partied hard with celebrities like Taylor Swift at this month’s Super Bowl and Grammy Awards.

In response to rumors circulating that Riot might be gay, Ice Spice addressed a fan’s screenshot of him sliding into Riot’s direct messages on Instagram after their Super Bowl Weekend performance. To clear things up, the 24-year-old rapper casually replied to the fan’s tweet with, “he don’t like boys.”

The music producer, whose real name is Ephrem Lopez and whose father is well-known DJ and radio personality DJ Enuff, first connected with Ice Spice while both were SUNY college students. He has been responsible of several of Ice Spice’s hits, including her breakthrough single “Munch.”

He disclosed that the two were preparing some new heat in the studio during a live Q&A in December. Additionally, RIOTUSA talked at length about their collaboration with Nicki Minaj, who worked with Ice Spice on the projects “Barbie World” and “Princess Diana.”

Although Ice Spice has not yet released a full album, the year 2023 began with her debut EP, Like..?, which featured the popular tracks that propelled her to stardom.
